QuickPath Options

West Hills College offers several different QuickPath methods that evaluate what you know. Some require a test, others a written paper that explains your learning. Some training, especially military training, has already been evaluated and you can receive credit just by proving that you passed the training. Below are some details about QuickPath methods:
College credit by satisfactory completion of an institutional examination administered by the college in lieu of completion of a course listed in the college catalog.
College credit awarded based on a student portfolio which includes a written narrative of the college-level learning as it relates to the outcomes of a specific course and additional supporting documentation to validate the learning (e.g., work samples, videos, certifications, licenses) packaged for evaluation by the institution.
College credit awarded based on recommendations by the American Council on Education-Military Credit. Includes all military occupations and experiences evaluated by ACE for college credit utilizing the ACE Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Forces.
College credit awarded based on scores earned on the Advanced Placement Program.
College credit awarded based on scores earned on the College Level Exam Program (CLEP).
College credit obtained under International Baccalaureate Credit.
