Is Now Open In California's Central Valley

The West Hills Community College District Board of Trustees and Chancellor Dr. Kristin Clark are conducting a national search for a new President of West Hills College – Coalinga, one of two community colleges of this Central Valley multi-college district.

Established in 1932, West Hills College Coalinga, is a community college with many unique characteristics.  The school is one of only eleven California community colleges with dormitories in the U.S.  It actively recruits and attracts students from around the world.  Besides the traditional athletic programs for women and men, West Hills College – Coalinga is one of a few community colleges that hosts a coed top-ranked rodeo team that competes against two and four-year schools.

West Hills College – Coalinga prides itself on being renowned for its can-do spirit. We are committed to our profession, and we care about the communities we serve — many of them small towns that dot the landscape in the Central Valley and are home to the Californians who grow, harvest and ship food to the entire world.

The new President will lead a college that has a history of using its unique operational structure to move quickly to embrace innovation. It is built into our culture.
