The Board of Trustees and the District has officially begun their search for a Chancellor
of West Hills Community College District. Applications are now being accepted.
The task of selecting a new Chancellor is one which will be considered carefully. To accomplish this task, a Chancellor Search Committee will be appointed by the Board of Trustees as per Board Policy and Administrative Procedure 2431, Chancellor Selection.
All applications and inquiries will be treated with strict confidence.
The committee will begin reviewing applications in April, 2024. It is anticipated
that candidates will be selected and initial interviews with the Chancellor Search
Committee will take place in May, 2024.
Search Timeline
- February 19 – Monday April 15, 2024: Accept applications from candidates
- May 9-14, 2024: Candidate interviews
- Week of May 28-30, 2024: Public forums with finalists and interviews with the board
- June 25, 2024: Board of Trustees selects and approves new Chancellor for WHCCD
- No Later than August 1, 2024 : New Chancellor begins work at WHCCD
